The hardest part of renting a car is often getting to the car. If the household’s only vehicle is already at work in Manchester, you can’t drive yourself to a rental counter. A ride there means asking a favor, paying for a rideshare, or giving up half a morning. That’s why so many people in southern New Hampshire search for a car rental delivered to your home. The car comes to the driveway, you sign, and the day carries on.
This guide explains how door-to-door delivery works at Vorenza Rental Cars, a locally owned company based on Central Street in Derry. It covers how to book with a delivery address, which towns count as local, what to have ready when the driver arrives, and how the car gets collected at the end. It’s written for people who rent from home. If you’re flying in, our guide to getting from MHT or Logan to your rental is the better read.
The short version: Book online or by phone and enter your home or office address. A local delivery fee, based on distance and time, is quoted before you pay. We confirm the day before by text or call. At the handoff, the renter shows a license and the card, we do a quick walk-around together, and you sign. At the end, drop the car at our Derry or Manchester office or book a scheduled pickup from your address. Questions? Call (603) 661-2672.
How car rental delivered to your home works, step by step
There is no counter and no shuttle, and nobody needs to drive you anywhere. Here’s the sequence from booking to keys:
- Book with your address. The online booking form takes about 90 seconds. Choose your dates and vehicle class, and pick delivery instead of office pickup. Prefer to talk it through? Call (603) 661-2672 and we’ll book it with you.
- See the delivery rate before you pay. The fee depends on distance and the time you want the car. It’s quoted at booking, so there are no surprises at the curb.
- Get an instant confirmation. An email arrives as soon as the booking goes through, with your reservation details and a number to call for changes.
- Confirm timing the day before. We send a quick text or call ahead of the delivery to confirm the time and catch any last-minute changes. Running late, or the kids’ schedule shifted? That’s the moment to tell us.
- Do the handoff. The driver arrives and you walk around the car together, noting anything already there. We check the license and card, you sign the rental agreement, and the keys are yours.
Every car is cleaned and sanitized between rentals and inspected before it goes out. What arrives in your driveway is ready to drive, not a car you have to clean out first.
Where we deliver: the local zone and farther out
Delivery is quoted the same way everywhere: by distance and time. Where you live decides which side of the line you’re on.
| Option | Where | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Local home delivery | Derry, Manchester, Bedford, Salem, Londonderry, Windham, Hampstead, Hooksett, Goffstown, Auburn, Candia | Local delivery fee based on distance and time, quoted when you book |
| Office or workplace delivery | Any business address in the same towns | Tell us the entrance, the parking area and who will meet the driver |
| Out-of-area delivery | Farther addresses such as Concord, Nashua, Portsmouth or the Lakes Region | Available at a higher delivery rate based on distance |
| Office pickup | 15 Central St, Derry (I-93 Exit 4) or 1086 Candia Rd, Manchester (near I-93 Exit 7) | No delivery fee. Useful if someone can drop you off on the way to work |
Not sure which side of the line your street falls on? Enter the address at checkout and the quote will tell you, or call us. The one place we don’t hand over cars is the terminal at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. Home, hotel and office deliveries are all fine.
What to have ready when the car arrives
A driveway handoff takes a few minutes when everything is ready. Have these to hand:
- A valid driver’s license. New Hampshire, Massachusetts and other US state licenses are all accepted. Visiting from abroad? Call (603) 661-2672 before you book and we’ll confirm exactly which documents to have ready. Drivers 18 and older are welcome, with no young-driver surcharge.
- A credit or debit card in the renter’s name. Deposits start at $250 on a credit card. Debit cards need a minimum of $300, and premium vehicles can need more. First-time renters may be asked for some extra verification. Our debit card rental guide covers the details.
- Every extra driver, in person. Additional drivers can be added for a fee, and each one has to be there at the handoff to sign. If your partner will share the driving, plan the delivery for when both of you are home.
- Proof of insurance, if you’re using your own. If you plan to rely on your own auto policy or a credit card’s rental coverage, have the proof ready. Otherwise, protection options are offered when you book. The New Hampshire Insurance Department suggests calling your own insurer before you decide. Our rental car insurance guide lays out the choices.
- A clear spot to park. An open driveway or a visitor space makes the walk-around easy. In an apartment complex or a building with a gate code, add the details to your booking notes.
